Northwest Corner of Yucca and Wilcox the Blackburn Apts. housed actor Russell
Hadyden (Lucky Jenkins) in 1948. DIrector James Kirkwood died here in 1963.
Roby Heard, a Herald Examiner reporter was murdered here in 1970. The building
was closed down in 1993 and homeless youths tortured a man to death in the
abandoned building, since restored. |

tyring to enter a small boat in 1981 at age 43. She lies in Westwood. |
